The Abolishing Women Bill, soon to be passed by the Cook-Labor Government, is a direct attack on the safety, dignity, and rights of women and girls across Western Australia.
The Australian Christians Party stands firm in our commitment to reverse this nonsensical bill when elected.

Stand in defence of women and girls
Endangering female-only spaces:
The bill paves the way for predators to gain access to spaces reserved for women, such as changing rooms and shelters, by exploiting self-identification provisions.
This puts the privacy and safety of women and girls at serious risk.
Undermining parental rights:
The bill permits minors to alter their gender on official documents without the consent of their parents.
If a child’s guardians or parents disagree with a minor’s desire to change their gender, the child can directly appeal to the Family Court.
This undermines the family unit, creating unnecessary division between parents and children.
Threatening women’s sports:
The legislation will allow male athletes to compete in female sports, destroying fair competition and telling our female athletes that their achievements and safety are less important than political ideology.
