Maryka Groenewald, Leader of the Australian Christians Party, has today called on the newly elected Liberal Leader Basil Zempilas to confirm his stance on the use of puberty blockers for minors and Labor’s radical gender laws.
“When Australian Christians became the first WA party to call for a ban on puberty blockers for minors, Libby Mettam followed suit,” said Maryka Groenewald.
“Now, with Basil Zempilas stepping into the leadership, the question is simple: will he back the commitments his predecessor made?
“This is not a side issue—it’s a matter of child safety and medical ethics,
“Libby Mettam backed our call to ban puberty blockers for minors. The public deserves to know whether Mr Zempilas will do the same,
“We’ve seen the damage these experimental drugs and radical gender policies cause to vulnerable young people,
“WA families need clarity. They need to know if the Liberals will stand up to Labor’s ideology or rollover,
“Leadership means making hard decisions. Mr Zempilas must prove he’s willing to take a stand where it counts,
“We don’t need another fence-sitter—we need someone who will protect children and restore biological reality in law,
“This issue isn’t going away. Parents across WA are watching closely,
“Mr Zempilas must make his position known,
“Will he stand with us or allow Labor’s reckless agenda to continue unimpeded?” Groenewald concluded.
