Born in Mauritius, Vanessa and her family immigrated to Australia when she was five years old. She is passionate about social justice, freedom of speech, law reform and seeing families strengthened.
Vanessa has a heart for people and cultures and served on several community trips to Cambodia, Kenya and Mozambique.
She also serves her local community through Open Church in Merriwa.
