Born in South Africa, Magdeleen now calls Australia home.
She holds a BSc in Physiotherapy and a Certificate in Business Management and has worked in Health Care for the past 10 years, seeing firsthand the hard work of healthcare workers, and the immense strain on the healthcare sector. Magdeleen has been involved in politics for the last six years, representing AC at State and Federal elections.
Magdeleen wants policy that enables parents, schools, and the community to work together for the benefit of all children. She feels it is important for parents to stand – and be a strong voice for the wellbeing of their families, given the influences undermining the Judeo-Christian foundations of our nation.
Magdeleen currently enjoys raising her family and taking time to appreciate the beauty of nature – God’s creation. She also loves working with her patients – supporting those most in need.
Magdeleen has served in several church committees, with a special interest in music where she plays the piano.
